I was happy to acquire this aft photograph of Jack Deal taken by Lon. I now suspect the fore image of Jack in this post on the blog was also taken by Lon.
I think Jack looks like a superhero coming into his powers.
The Western Photography Guild took both of these images of Eddie Williams.
I hope to discover a whole series of photographs of Eddie fighting Irwin Horwitz: it looks like an epic battle has just gotten under way.
This is one of my favorite images of Ed Fury, whose real name was Ed Holovchik and who was a very popular physique model in the 1950's.
I especially like how this photograph seems to capture the moment just before Ed releases the energy he's built up in his muscles to hurl the stick.

The Athletic Model Guild took these great images of John Miller sometime in the 1940's.
Please jump to this post and this one on the blog to see more great photographs of this handsome model.
Pat Milo took these photographs of Kip Behar.
Though all of these images are fantastic, my two favorites are of Kip wearing the sailor pants and of him reclining back on the structure, these images in particular making his upper torso look quite massive.
Bruce of Los Angeles took the photograph of Larry Scott accepting his trophies at a bodybuilding competition.
Among the many titles he won are Mr. California in 1960, Mr. Universe in 1963 and 1964, and Mr. Olympia in 1965 and 1966.
I do not know who took the outstanding images of Larry posing outdoors.

Russ Warner took this nice photograph of Dick Fenley, who has a lean, muscular physique.
When you jump to this post on the blog, you will see Dick battling Johnnie Holden on the beach in four more photographs by Warner.
I am hunting down a larger version of this photograph of Jim Park and Tim Sweeny and hope to find more images of these massive men paired together.
Jim stands on the left. I think his upper torso is spectacular.

In 1965, Joe Napoli appears in the thirty-fourth volume of Bruce of Los Angeles' magazine, The Male Figure.
I do not know who took the photographs in this post, but do know David Martin photographed Joe in the San Francisco Bay Area when the model went by the name Greg Bradford.
You can see one of Martin's images when you jump to this post on the blog.
The Western Photography Guild took these outstanding images of Doran Propp fighting Frank Zeuch.
For more photographs of this battling duo, please jump to this post on the blog.

I was happy to acquire this photograph of Don Ferrera taken by the Athletic Model Guild. It not only show how muscular this man is, but it makes me almost certain that the image in this post on the blog was also taken by the Athletic Model Guild.
The Athletic Model Guild took this nice photograph of Jimmy Cavenaugh, who looks like he's taking seriously his role in the nautical theme of the image.

Bruce of Los Angeles took these nice images of handsome Bill Gregg, who is featured in the thirty-first volume of Bruce of Los Angeles' magazine, The Male Figure.
Kris Studios took this great photograph of Steve Reno, who appeared on the covers of bodybuilding magazines in the 1960's.
I am tracking down more information on this handsome model.
