David Zurborg

David Zurbog was one of the first vintage beefcake models to catch my eye. I think he is the embodiment of Mid-Century America.

He is the cover model on Volume 11 of The Male Figure, published in 1958 by Bruce of Los Angeles.

Phil Knight is the model tangling David up in rope.

Robert Fedell

Here are several more photographs of Robert Fedell, one of my favorite beefcake models. Many - if not all - of these photographs were taken by Bruce of Los Angeles.

Forrester Millard

Forrester Millard is probably one of the most popular beefcake models. Several of these photographs were taken by Bob Mizer at AMG. I do not know who the blond model is posing with Millard.

Nestor Derkach

Here are twelve photographs of Nestor Derkach, of whom I know very little. He was leaner than many of the bodybuilders from the 1940's and 1950's.
