Buck Kartalian, Angelo Caminiti and Sal Pumo
I don't generally post photographs from scanned magazines, as the quality of the images is frequently subpar.
However, I am a big collector of vintage beefcake magazines themselves, as they are not only treasure troves of information on the models and photographers, but act as time machines to the nascent and often hidden gay culture of their time.

Robert Fedell Photographed by Bruce of Los Angeles
Bruce of Los Angeles took this photograph of Robert Fedell, who is one of my favorite physique models.
I began this blog 5.5 years ago with a post of all the images I had at that time of Fedell.
I can't think of a more interesting and fun hobby than finding, sorting and sharing with you appreciative readers the photographs in my growing collection of vintage beefcake.

John Winship and Rocky McCorkle Photographed by the Athletic Model Guild
The Athletic Model Guild took this photograph of John Winship battling Rocky McCorkle.
As you'll note when you jump to this post on the blog, I'd been uncertain for a few years as to who created the images of Winship paired with McCorkle, until I consulted the August, 1953 issue of Bob Mizer's magazine, Physique Pictorial.
