At the Mr. Universe competition in 1968, Arax Studio took this photograph of Dennis Tinerino, who won the title that year and again in 1975, 1980 and 1981. He also won the title Mr. America in 1978.

In the 1970's, Tinerino turned to a life of crime and spent a year in prison, where he became a Christian. In 1979, he founded the Dennis Tinerino Ministries in Beverly Hills, California.

He passed away on May 7, 2010 at the age of sixty-four.
