I have only come across writings that state many thought they knew who the photographer was, but no one had conclusive proof....Yes, Les Demi Dieux was out of NYC - Brooklyn, I believe. LDD was Danny Fitzgerald. He worked in NYC.

ReplyDeleteThe internet suggests that Fitzgerald owned a studio in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and was responsible for the LDD output. For example:
