I had the pleasure of knowing Mark Nixon and his long time companion Herbert Hischmoeller and their lovely Beverly Hills estate in 1976-77. I was a 19 year old 'Twink' is what Mark called me. He was still handsome as ever and his life had a tragic ending at his hacienda in Ensenada, Mexico. I never knew Mark was a famous male model, he never discusssed it by then. I stumbled across him while searching for people on the internet a few years back. I remember going to a brunch out in Thousand Oaks one Sunday with Mark, Herbert, a house guest and the Shah of Iran's sister. Got to meet Zsa Zsa and Eva Gabor and Francesca Hilton, Zsa Zsa'a only daughter. The Gabor sisters besides having huge butts were old hags by this time and both were covered in pet fur and jewels. Huge diamonds and stunning sapphires...on Zsa Zsa. Both arrived in Rolls Royce cars. Mark whose real name was William Markley Nixon III, was a true southern gentleman and came from old southern money. He was gracious and couldn't have been more nice. He did have a slight imperfection and that was lying about his sexual conquest with me. We never had sex, yet behind my back, he told all these rich fags in LA how hot I was... Now all these years later, that estate has been sold off in bits and pieces, but it sure was nice while it lasted. I stole Mark's 18K gold Cartier Tank watch, but gave it back. Thou shall not steal! I can go to my grave knowing I did the right thing. As for Mark, his images will live forever.
