I must thank a generous fan of this blog for this photograph taken by the Athletic Model Guild of John Davidson wrestling Blackie Preston.

There are other battling duos on this blog who look like fighting Olympians. These two are always adorable when paired together.

Already on the blog is a more cropped version of the image of Davidson lying down.

Dennis Bell is the current owner of the Athletic Model Guild and founder of the Bob Mizer Foundation, which launched a Kickstarter campaign last month. I love that the video on the Kickstarter page briefly features John Davidson, who died in the 1960's while fighting in Vietnam.

The campaign has reached its goal, but so much more money is needed to properly archive all of Bob Mizer's films and videos.

Stump your friends with this: Which artist shot the most film and video footage ever? Bob Mizer.

Dennis Bell, the current owner of the Athletic Model Guild and founder of the Bob Mizer Foundation, let me know last night that the Foundation has a new Kickstarter campaign. The video included with the campaign is amazing, especially for you fans of John Davidson.

Today, the first backer donated half of the campaign's goal.
