Here are three nice photographs of Jack Conant.

I don't know who the photographer was.

Dale Curry Photographed by the Athletic Model Guild

The Athletic Model Guild took this photograph of Dale Curry, who certainly plays his part well in this overly ornate production.

Eugene Meyer by Kovert of Hollywood

Kovert of Hollywood was photographing male nudes almost as early as Bob Mizer of the Athletic Model Guild.

While most early physique photographers required their models to be meticulously groomed and posed them in classical settings, Kovert dispensed with the Roman columns, chest plates, bows and arrows, etc. to photograph his male nudes with their body hair unshaven and in settings that were plain or verging on the unusually theatrical.

Eugene Meyer is one of my favorite beefcake models.

Ricky Alboni by John S. Barrington

Here are three great photographs of Ricky Alboni by John Barrington, a British photographer who worked with male nudes from 1948 into the 1990's. It was Barrington who built from the ground up the market for beefcake photography in Great Britain.

I know nothing about the model, Ricky Alboni.

Ray Liedtke by Russ Warner

Ray Liedtke is another of my favorite beefcake models. This photograph was taken by Russ Warner, who in the 1950's was able to photograph many of the most popular beefcake models, including the famous pairing of Jack LaLanne and Jack Thomas.

Kip Behar by Pat Milo

Pat Milo took these photographs of Kip Behar, who was a popular beefcake model of the 1950's. Bruce of Los Angeles featured Kip in a sprawling spread in Volume 9 of The Male Figure. There's even a great photograph of Kip strolling down Hollywood's Walk of Fame.

Boxing

UPDATED April 22, 2011: Here's a great photograph of two boxers. I especially like how pale they look against the dark background.

Dan Lurie is the man on the left. I do not know who his boxing partner is.

Fred Bortnik

Here are two photographs of Fred Bortnik, of whom I know nothing. I especially like the photograph of him climbing into the artwork.

In Volume 2 of The Male Figure, Stall appears in several more images taken by Bruce of Los Angeles.

Don Fuller

I was surprised and really happy when I stumbled across this photograph of Don Fuller. You can see it clearly goes with the the series of photographs of him posing on the rooftop. I don't have any confirmation, but someone mentioned it was likely part of an AMG shoot.

Tom Mathews and Louis Tarr Photographed by Bruce of Los Angeles

Here is a spectacular photograph Bruce of Los Angeles took of Tom Mathews wrestling Louis Tarr.

Robert and Bill Rex by Pat Milo

I am always hesitate to believe popular beefcake models are photographed with their brothers or other male relatives, but in this case, Bill and Robert look very much alike, so I am inclined to believe my source when he says Pat Milo took these great photographs of the brothers.
