Douglas Juleff

Douglas Juleff was born in 1919 in Detroit, Michigan, where he lived his entire life.

After serving in the military, he began photographing male nudes under the name, Douglas of Detroit.

His exquisite images were featured in the burgeoning fitness and bodybuilding magazines of the 1940's and 1950's.

He passed away in 1999.
