This photograph of Martin Moss and Dale Gilbert is in the classic style of the Western Photography Guild: the two nude models transcend their photo shoot on a hillside somewhere in Colorado, appearing to have more in common with the immutable forces of nature than with us mortals viewing their digital image decades after it was taken.

Ned Trent

This is the only photograph of Ned Trent I have seen.

The photograph has touches of Pat Milo to it, but I do not know who took it.

David Knight

This is a nice photograph of David Knight, of whom I know nothing.

This looks like a color photograph from the 1950's, but I do not know who took this image.

Everett Sinderoff

This is a fantastic photograph of Everett Sinderoff, of whom I've only seen a few images.

Don Hawksley

Don Hawksley was a popular model in the late 1950's and 1960's for obvious reasons.

I have come across many images of him in the various beefcake magazines from that time.

My favorite of these is the one in which he's wearing only a tee shirt.

Bob Delmonteque

This is Bob Delmonteque, the most financially successful of all the vintage beefcake models. While others like Steeve Reeves, Richard Dubois and Johnny Weissmuller were certainly much more famous, only Delmonteque went from successful nude model to photographing nude models to training Hollywood stars and even astronauts for NASA to owning a nationwide chain of gyms.

He died November 21, 2011.

Unknown Models

These photographs feature Bob McCune, another famous beefcake model from the 1950's. He is one of my favorite bodybuilders; he is spectacularly massive.

He is wrestling Herb Lamm in one photograph. I do not know who took these photographs.

These two photographs of Ron Gregory were taken by Pat Milo, whose beefcake photography spanned the 1950's to the late 1960's.

Bob Wainwright

Here's a very nice photograph of Bob Wainwright.

I do not know who the photographer was, but the lighting and the classical theme of its jailed, nearly nude model attempting to break his bonds make me think the photograph was taken in the early to mid-1950's by Bob Mizer of the Athletic Model Guild.
