Steve Reeves

Here are three outstanding photographs of Steve Reeves.

With his spectacular physique, it is little wonder he won the titles, Mr. Pacific Coast and Mr. Western America in 1946, Mr. Pacific Coast and Mr. America in 1947, Mr. Universe Tall and Mr. World in 1948, and Mr. Universe Tall and Overall in 1950.

Jerry Debry Photographed by Bruce of Los Angeles

I love obtaining information from readers on the photographers and models featured on this blog.

I recently discovered I was misspelling Jerry Debry's last name. "Debry" is the correct spelling.

This and the other images of this handsome model on the blog were all taken by Bruce of Los Angeles.

Bob Jensen Photographed by the Athletic Model Guild

The Athletic Model Guild took this nice photograph of Bob Jensen, about whom you can learn more when you jump to this post on the blog.

Bob Poling Photographed by Bruce of Los Angeles

I was thrilled to acquire these images of massive Bob Poling posing solo for Bruce of Los Angeles.

Please jump to this post on the blog to see him fighting Al Abajian.

Jacques Pannier Photographed by Arax Studio

Arax Studio took these nice photographs of Jacques Pannier in Paris.

In the image of Jacques posing next to the Eiffel Tower, I especially like the model's steady gaze over his fantastic body contrasting with the looks of confusion and even disgust directed at him by the fully clothed passers-by.

Please jump to this post in the blog to learn more about the man behind Arax Studio.

Bob Spahn

I have had for a number of years the photograph of Bob Spahn seated, but did not know his identity until a few days ago, when I acquired a second copy of the image along with his name and the photograph of his fantastic back.

I do not know who took these images.

Howard Heidtmann Photographed by Pat Milo

It will need to be you to tell Don Fuller that Howard Heidtmann is the one model who can tear my gaze away from Don's movie-star good looks.

Pat Milo took this great image of Howard in the 1950's.

Phil Lambert

Phil Lambert has the most recognizable profile of the many handsome men made famous by the Western Photography Guild.

Sal Saverino Photographed by Lon

These fantastic photographs of Sal Saverino were taken by Lon.

From its name, you know this blog's main focus is on the admiration of vintage beefcake aka bodybuilders from the 1940's and 1950's.

Sal's sparkling smile shows you vividly why I enjoy investing so much time on this blog every day.
