In Volume 16, Number 1 of Physique Pictorial, Bob Mizer writes about Bob Jensen, who was eighteen years old at the time Mizer took his photograph:
"His is a build developed from natural sports rather than from formal training. Though a cooperative model, he was quite indifferent to physique display, and it was only through the efforts of his attractive mother (since passed away) that he was persuaded to pose for these photographs."
Over the years there were several moms that wanted their sons photographed by AMG in the vain hopes that they might become Hollywood stars.
ReplyDeleteHello, Douglas! Yes, and it wasn't just their moms. A lot of the models were hoping to get attention from producers, directors, etc, with these photographs - especially those men who weren't great actors or were hoping their physiques would bring celebrity and film roles like it did for Reeves, DuBois and the other elites.
ReplyDeleteI do not exclude that there were willing to go to the maintenance of rich dads.
