Don Hawksley was a popular model in the late 1950's and 1960's for obvious reasons.
I have come across many images of him in the various beefcake magazines from that time. My favorite of these is the one in which he's wearing only a tee shirt.
The vast majority of the men modeling in the 1950's and 1960's did not pose in hardcore magazines - let alone star in hardcore films, which weren't shown in United States theaters until the mid 1970's.
Photographs of men fully aroused weren't legal in the US until that time.
