Clint Eastwood



Here are two fun photographs of Clint Eastwood early in his career. I think these images show more of his true personality than what you see in the movie roles he's famous for.

Doug McClure is the blond who's got Clint in a jam. Doug was most famous for his role as Trampas in the TV western series, The Virginian.

  1. What are they posing for? I mean, it's a physique mag sort of pose, but you'd expect posing straps instead of swim trunks, wouldn't you?

    I think they were just having fun wrestling and acting like tough guys.

    These images were likely taken in the mid-1950's, when beefcake - and cheesecake - as we know it today burst into mainstream culture.
