Here are two fun photographs of Clint Eastwood early in his career. I think these images show more of his true personality than what you see in the movie roles he's famous for.
Doug McClure is the blond who's got Clint in a jam. Doug was most famous for his role as Trampas in the TV western series,
The Virginian.
What are they posing for? I mean, it's a physique mag sort of pose, but you'd expect posing straps instead of swim trunks, wouldn't you?

ReplyDeleteI think they were just having fun wrestling and acting like tough guys.
These images were likely taken in the mid-1950's, when beefcake - and cheesecake - as we know it today burst into mainstream culture.
