Cowboys and Indians was a popular motif of 1950's America, as demonstrated by the numerous Westerns televised across the country during the era.
This astounding photograph by the Athletic Model Guild shows Don Fuller as an Indian chief, Joe Leitel as the cowboy about to slay him or protect him, and Steve Wengryn as either a slain cowboy or Indian, his posing pouch providing no clues as to which side he was on.
I find it comical Steve sits on a towel to protect his posterior from the rocky terrain.
