Lance Willet by Champion Studio
I believe all of these great images of Lance Willet were taken by Champion Studio.
As the laws were changing in the United States on photographing nude adults in the 1960's, the men behind the cameras found fewer bodybuilders interested in posing for their studios, since these massive men frequently did not want to pose nude nor be associated with gay pornography.
Thus, the photographers found themselves turning more frequently to amateur athletes, college students and aspiring actors. You will note many of the models during this changing era are less massive than the men from the preceding two decades, and that the images of the 1960's were shot less often in the formal studio or isolated mountain top and more frequently on the beach or in showers, locker rooms and gyms.
Walter Kundzicz, the man behind Champion Studio, was one of the best and most prolific photographers of this era. He found many of his models - even Lance Willet, maybe - at the Sunshine Beach Club, a Florida nudist colony he invested in.
