I've not been able to find any information on handsome Don Silvas, who I suspect was passing through the studio to make some extra cash.
His correct last name is Silvas.

I checked different sources, and you are correct - One source even says his name is spelled "Sylvas," but he is in the minority, so I have updated the blog and my notes, and just now added two more images of this model, who apparently was a bit more serious at his work than I originally guessed.
