I have been obsessed with this image taken by the Athletic Model Guild since I first discovered it online. I worked briefly at the Athletic Model Guild in El Cerrito, California, to where it moved from Los Angeles after Bob Mizer's death; but I do not recall seeing these models in any of the photographs and negatives I reviewed.I was told today the models are Joe Ciulla and Angelo Noto, who is seated on the right and has a tattoo climbing up his upper arm that I am trying to decipher.
I love the look in their eyes: both men seem to realize at the same moment his opponent wants to kiss him as much as he wants to be kissed.
