The Key to the Athletic Model Guild's Symbols


The Athletic Model Guild's founder, Bob Mizer was prosecuted and sent to prison for distributing Physique Pictorial magazine and photographs of adult male models through the United States Postal Service.

One of the contributing factors was his writing symbols on the photographs of the models, prosecutors alleging he was running a prostitution ring, the symbols a menu of sexual acts and their costs per model.

Here is the key to Mizer's symbols, which was intended to steer painters, sculptures and other photographers toward the models best suited for physique posing.
