Truly, there has never been on this blog a man looking as disinclined to pose for a vintage beefcake photographer - even for the greatest of them all, Bob Mizer - as Francis William "Frank" Stark.
In 1966, at the age of twenty-two, Frank appears in two issues of the Athletic Model Guild's magazine, Physique Pictorial.
In one of these, Mizer writes of his pouty, slouching model: "[...] Likes to gamble and shoot pool. Says he doesn't like to read but does look at 'skin books.'"
