George Quaintance took the photograph of Bill Bredlau posing in jeans next to a painting featuring his likeness.
From the 1940's until his death in 1957, Quaintance painted very popular homoerotic images of cowboys and natives of the Americas.
Quaintance's work was regularly featured in Bob Mizer's magazine,
Physique Pictorial.
I do not know who took the photograph here of Bill reclining under the blanket.
