With his movie-star good looks and outstanding physique, it is no surprise Jim won the titles Mr. Florida in 1965, Mr. North America in 1966, Mr. Southern States and Mr. U.S.A. in 1967, Mr. America in 1968 and Mr. Universe (NABBA, Tall, 1st) in 1969.
