Johnny Weismuller was an Olympic swimmer who broke speed records, winning five gold medals in the 1920's.
He is most fondly remembered for playing Tarzan in twelve films in the 1930's and 1940's.
He was nearly 84 years old when he passed away on January 20, 1984.
