  2. Hello, oglh!

I've seen these two models confused on other blogs.

They look similar, but when you check out Les in the other images under his label on my blog, you'll note his larger, more rugged face and more muscular upper body. He also soon has the outlines of the tattoo across his chest that is seen completed in later photos of him nude.

Wally stays leanly muscular throughout his modeling career and only gets the puma tattoo on his upper arm and the flowery tattoo on his forearm.

I must say I enjoy this sort of detective work.

    Best,

    Michael

  3. Hi Michael,

You may be right, (or not :)

I couldn't detect any hint of a tattoo on this models chest, nor anything on his arms.

But you're right, this could be Les pre-tattoos. I would actually prefer for this image to be Les P. since I already have a bunch of Wally images but no Les! I looked at everyhing I have of Wally and also looked through everything you posted on both models. I think this model's facial and physical structure resembles more closely Wally.

I also seem to remember when i bought this image that there was a second, slightly different image of the same model (Wally) in that same location. Maybe Mizer photographed Les Petrov on that same rock as well (he certainly repeated himself)?

My pendulum teeters towards Wally on this one.

    Thanks for responding.

    Best,
    Oliver

  4. I'm not sure it's either Les OR Wally, but one notable thing is that this guy and Wally both have a distinct mark on their upper left thighs (pelvis), and Les does not.

  5. Hello, Rex Smith!

I really appreciate all the help on identifying the models.

I know this is Les Petroff because I now have the AMG photo catalog of him featuring this image.

    Best,

    Michael
